New Upgrade Version UFI Box with UFS-Prog - Worldwide / International Version gives you one bench setup for eMMC and UFS storage work, which saves time when a customer walks in with a dead phone or a boot loop. Start with the UFI Box itself, a USB 2.0 High-Speed unit with built-in LDO voltage output and support for an external power source. From there, you can read eMMC user data, repair the chip, resize and format storage, erase it completely, write full data, read boot1 and boot2, read EXT_CSD and update firmware. When the chip stays on the board, the test point method lets you work without desoldering it first. Start each job by reading the chip ID and EXT_CSD, then move to the write or repair step, so you know the real fault before you touch the board. If a phone hangs on logo after a flash, read the boot partitions first and decide from there whether to reflash or replace the chip. The UFS-Prog works as an add-on interface, so you connect it to the UFI Box before every UFS job and keep both units linked for the whole session. It runs over USB 3.1 Gen1 at 5 Gbps, supports the UFS protocol up to version 2.2, and handles PWM Gear 4 and High-Speed Gear 3 on a single lane. Reads reach up to 120 MBps and writes reach up to 80 MBps, which cuts waiting time on larger UFS images. You can read and write UFS registers, flags, attributes and descriptors, which gives you the detail you need when a device refuses to boot after a flash. The tool also reaches UFS LUNs and the RPMB partition, so you can inspect the areas that matter on a stubborn handset. Your kit includes a UFS ToolBox, a 2-in-1 UFS socket adapter for BGA254 and BGA153, a UFS ISP cable set, the UFI-Lite USB 3.0 SuperSpeed microSD and eMMC reader, and the UFI ISP Adapter V2 for ISP pinout work on boards that need direct access. For eMMC, the 2-in-1 socket covers 169, 153, 162 and 186 FBGA packages, and a second socket covers 221 and BGA254 packages, so you move between common Samsung, Toshiba and Kingston parts and many Chinese phone chips without rebuilding your setup. Windows 7 in both 32-bit and 64-bit, Windows 8 in 64-bit and Windows 10 in 64-bit all run the software, while Windows XP works only partially and Windows 11 has not been tested, so set up a dedicated bench PC on a supported version. At about 0.55 kg, the unit sits steady on your bench beside your microscope and multimeter. Keep your ISP pinouts and test points clean before you connect, and choose the right socket for each package before you start. That habit cuts setup time and gets working phones back to customers faster.
